If you really want to know a relative to the extent of loving him and having fun with him, plan a reunion! The more you know him, the more likely you will want to be around him and accept him.
Reunions are very important when you consider that everyone has a chance to tie himself to a family in a patriarchal order. The family reunion is the place to give of yourself, love others, and develop the feeling of belonging.
Some people have reunions twice a year. Some families get together at every holiday, others for deer hunting season. Reunions should be a tradition for all family members.
A successful reunion will compensate for all the time, work, and money that it has taken to organize and prepare it. Happiness is everyone's goal.
