Option 1: DIY Publishing

You select the services you need, we handle production, and you take it from there. Once your book is ready, you can order copies for delivery or pick them up directly from us. This option is ideal for authors who want full control over their own distribution and sales.

Option 2: Full Publishing & Distribution

You select the services you need, we handle production, and then we take your book to market through our established distribution channels — getting it in front of bookstores, retailers, and online platforms on your behalf.

The Process From Beginning to End

Every amazing book has a professional team behind it!
Step 1 : Assembling Your Team

The best books always have a professional team behind it. Luckily for you, we can help you assemble the perfect team for you. We offer a bunch of services that YOU can choose from, in order to make your book the best that it can be.  The list of services that we offer are:

  • Print, eBook, and Audiobook creation
  • Substantive and Line Editing
  • Interior design and typeset
  • Cover design
  • Illustration

Once you've decided on the services you want for your book, and let us know how you want the book to be made (paperback, hardcover, black and white, full color, etc.), we will then get to Step 2: the hard work!
Step 2 : Putting In the Hard Work
Now that your team has been assembled, it is time for us to do the work. Each process is unique depending on the book, but we've been doing this for 40 years, so nothing surprises us at this point. We will assign you a distribution agent (if you choose) who will let you know the best steps we can take to make your book a winner. 

Our editors will make sure that your book looks and reads professionally, while our cover designers will make sure that your book is marketable. 

Once your book has been made into the formats that you have chosen (print, ebook, and audiobook), we will then begin the final process which is printing and distributing the book. 
Step 3 : Printing and Distribution

Now that your book is ready for print, you just have to let us know how many books you want to order, pay for them, and we'll ship them to you, or you can pick them up at our warehouse.

For authors who choose Option 2 (Full Publishing & Distribution):

Once your manuscript has been reviewed and approved by our editorial team, Cedar Fort covers the cost of printing and fulfills all orders directly from our warehouse. We also distribute your book through our established channels — placing it with bookstores, retailers, and online platforms to give it the widest possible reach.
