Amber's student, six-year-old Mary Noel, survives a car crash over Thanksgiving break but loses her precious dog in the accident. Amber and her new friend, Paul are determined to cheer the girl up over the holidays. However, Mary Noel becomes more and more withdrawn as the holidays go on and Amber realizes that they're going to need a miracle that might just require the entire community's help.
