The Diverse Speakers and Messages of Love and the Plan of Salvation During General Conference

In this special session of General Conference that took place Easter morning, President Russell M. He emphasized that this Church is a global church, and that the speakers this session was an example of that. All the talks strongly emphasized Easter, The Resurrection, and the Plan of Salvation.

Elder Ulisses Soares of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles started by talking about the Atonement of Jesus Christ and the importance of repentance. He was then followed by Reyna I. Aburto, Second Counselor of the Relief Society General Presidency, who talked about the sorrow that comes when we lose the ones that we love, including our families.

"Because of Jesus Christ's resurrection, we will all be resurrected. He has made it possible for all of us to be reunited as families, and have eternal joy, in the presence of God, if we choose to make sacred covenants with Him."

The next talk was given by S. Mark Palmer of the Seventy who followed up on the theme of Plan of Salvation and losing ones that we love. What he really emphasized was how the Plan of Salvation answers so many unanswered questions that the soul yearns for during times of hardships.
