During the early 1970s while living in Montana and writing stories for the Bitterroot Journal, Lee had occasion to interview a number of people who claimed to have seen the mysterious Bigfoot of Sasquatch creatures. Lee described these interviews in various articles. At a time when Bigfoot interest seemed to be at an all-time high, Lee wrote and published Taming the Sasquatch, a fictional account describing the capture and taming of one of these creatures. The story was published in book form in the early 1980s, but has been out of print until now.
