Mary-Celeste Ricks a wife and mother with a BA from Brigham Young University in humanities with an emphasis in English and minors in editing and Italian. She has held editing internships (including one at Cedar Fort in 2015), published articles in LDS magazines, and worked in libraries and archives in several capacities. Mary-Celeste has been a devoted Nanowrimo participant since 2007. She attended the BYU London Centre, took literature courses covering the Romantic period in both English and Italian, and used her spare time while working for the Joseph Smith Papers Project as a research assistant and for the L. Tom Perry Special Collections in various capacities to soak up what she could about England's early 19th century. One of her favorite authors to read is Georgette Heyer.
