President Russell. M. Nelson Teaches the FIVE Steps To Increase your Faith in Jesus Christ
President Russell M. Nelson concluded the Sunday Morning session of General Conference with a talk about faith and how to grow it. He asked members to allow others to be given the Christ's message of healing, love and hope. The goal? To eliminate the contention that is so heavily prevalent in society.
"Everything good in life, every potential blessing of eternal significance begins with faith. Allowing God to prevail in our life begins with faith.True repentance begins with faith. It is our faith that unlocks the power of God in OUR LIVES."
President Nelson reminded members that we don't need to have perfect faith in order to access to his perfect love. He then invite us to:
"Start today, to increase your faith."
With this faith, he said, we can move mountains. What mountains? Sadness, depression, suffering, loss, and hardships in life are examples of such mountains in our lives. Faith, gives us the ability to access the love of our Heavenly Father and healing power of our Savior's atonement.
Faith, however, is not easy to just have or grow. Because of this, he then gave members 5 steps to increase their faith.
1) Study. Become an engaged.
2) Choose to believe in Jesus Christ.
3) Act in Faith
4) Partake of sacred ordinances worthily
5) Ask your Heavenly Father for help
