Bio:Ted Collins Hindmarsh was born and raised in Provo, Utah. He is married to Shirlene Rasmussen, also from Provo. They have two daughters and three sons, and a growing number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ted holds two degrees from Brigham Young University–a BS in print journalism and an MA in educational commuication.
After fourty-four years of service, he retired from BYU, where his career included Educational Media Services, Learning Resource Centers, Student Auxilliary services, the Freshman Academy, and the Honor Code Office. He was also an adjuctive faculty member of the Communications Department for thirty-five of those years. He has also served in several church positions, including LDS Bishop.
Over the past 30 years, he has written more Christmas stories and verses than he can remember. The ones that have been published include Cracked Wheat for Christmas, Who Was Jolly Holiday, The Coachman and the Bells, Lost for Christmas, And The Elf and the Magic Windows. He has also published an anthology of verse called Campfire Verses.
