Teaser Tuesdays

It’s Tuesday again, which means TEASERS!

My Hubby and I are almost done with Damia by Anne McCaffrey. But once again I don’t have the book with me so I can’t give you an actual quote from the book, but I can tell you that the last thing I remember happening is that 6 of the characters were having the same reoccurring dream where friendly aliens came and contacted them. They were in the process of figuring out what to do about it.

The other books I’m reading have not been published yet, so it’s not just a teaser, but also a sneak peek! =DDiva Doctrine by Patricia V. Davis, women, self-worth, self esteem

The Diva Doctrine: 16 Universal Principles Every Woman Needs to Know by Patricia V. Davis (released May 2011)

Think about that. I almost died because I didn’t want to seem rude or troublesome by contradicting my doctor. And I didn’t want to be bothersome to my husband. Well, I can’t speak for my doctor, but I know my husband loves me, and I’m fairly certain it would have been a lot more bothersome to him if I’d died.

Never, ever blindly trust anyone. I know it’s a hard pill to swallow that the people we should be able to rely on most are not always honest. Even so, a really sharp diva can always keep that thought in the back of her mind without being suspicious and cynical every moment of the day. If people see you’re not that easy to fool, they’ll soon get the message that you’re not a pushover.

The Last Archangel by Michael Young (released July 2011)

Xandir sighed and pulled the handle of his left sword so that a few inches of the ebony blade could be seen. “I’m part of the reason you have so many new tenants up there, Lil’ Halo. These blades were given me when I accepted my initial assignment after the War in Heaven. The one on my left is called Dark Judge and the one on the right is Bright Advocate. With them, I hold justice and mercy, often life and death, in the balance.”

He answered her a moment later as he rose slowly to his feet, his arms stretched out like a scarecrow. In one hand, he held the manila files, and from the other hand dangled a sleek red and black snake, its fangs sunk deep into the flesh of his hands.

Isn’t anticipation great? If you can’t stand the wait, you can pre-order The Diva Doctrine and The Last Archangel on Amazon.

What other books are you looking forward to this summer?

I just finished your book and I loved it. I have stunningly beautiful granddaughters and they are always finding something wrong with their appearance. While I do their hair I am going to make all of them read parts of your book out loud so I know they get the message.
