TOM ROULSTONE was born in Donegal, Ireland, and raised in Glasgow, Scotland and Toronto, Ontario, Canada. As a child he became fascinated with the West, and when eighteen years old moved to British Columbia. After serving a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he operated a sight-seeing business in the Canadian Rockies. Later, he attended Brigham Young University and Utah State University, earning BA and MA degrees in history. In 1996 Cedar Fort, Inc. published his first novel, One Against the Wilderness. Four years later, he retired from college teaching to devote his time to writing. He is the author of five LDS novels and several Western novellas. Tom and his late wife Betsy have six children.
