Today’s recipe comes from The Diet Rebel’s Cookbook: Eating Clean and Green by Jillayne Clements and Michelle Stewart. Even the name of this book attests to it’s awesomeness. About 1/5 of this book talks about healthy foods, how to prepare them so that they retain as much of their nutrients as possible and the health benefits of eating a diet without processed and refined foods. The other 4/5 is “Treasured & Tasty” recipes, from sauces and marinades to pot roasts and lasagna, and yes, there is even a section entitled “Sweets and Treats.”
Today’s dinner recipe has two parts: Marinating the turkey, then fixing the wraps. And even though the recipe says that they are turkey wraps, they can easily be done with chicken instead. Just your personal preference. Enjoy!
