Hairdresser Has Collected Decades of Marital Wisdom

Marriage 101 For Men 2x3Sherri Mills has been a hairdresser for more than four decades and, as such, has been the sympathetic ear to many discussions on relationships. Her experiences listening to others lament their rocky romances led Ms. Mills to write two marriage-related books. She was recently interviewed and featured in the relationship column of the Wall Street Journal.

Her two books focus on how sharing the chores can help your marriage flourish. Her first book “I Almost Divorced MyPhoto 2 Husband, But I Went On Strike Instead” is directed to women and explains how they can influence their spouses and children to be committed to doing housework. You can find a copy at Books & Things, Barnes and Noble, and Amazon.

Her newest book, “Marriage 101 For Men: Why Taking Out The Trash Is A Turn On,” is geared toward showing husbands how taking responsibility around the house can increase intimacy in marriage. Whether you’ve been married for three months or thirty years, failing to “help around the house” remains a major cause of discord. Following this book’s principles, a husband learns to decrease disputes and increase intimacy by owninghis share of household work, not helpinghis wife do it all.“Marriage 101 For Men,” will be available in most stores in May of 2013. You can pre-order today at Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
