I was very impressed with this book! I found it to be a very imformative, well written and enlightening book. I had trouble putting it down. I am impressed with the incredible research that the author, Dave Collingridge, put into this work. I also had not seriously thought about how involved the Spirit of the Lord really is in everything that happens. I believe that Dr. Collingridge was inspired to write this book. I have a greater understanding and appreciation of how much the Lord really loves and cares for each and every one of us. I highly recommend this book!

People who really want an in depth understanding of the role that the Spirit of the Lord plays in revealing truth should read this book. Learn how modern science has largely separated itself from the role that the Lord plays in acquiring knowledge. The ancients took a long time to learn secular secrets that in the last couple of hundred years have come with great speed thanks to the outpouring of the Lord s Spirit in the latter-days. This book contains a message that people need to know about - that the Lord s Spirit blesses mankind with secular knowledge and truth.

Collingridge has put a lot of insight into this book. I really enjoyed how he meshed secular topics with spiritual ones. I found the book not only to be educational and interesting, but also spiritual and uplifting. Reading 'Truth and Science' has strengthened my testimony of the Restored Gospel and of the Lord's hand in the lives of his children throughout the ages. Excellent read!

Fascinating - "Truth and Science" is a fascinating book which shows a clear and distinctive relationship between the opening of the heavens within the gospel to advances in secular knowledge. A reader will gain an appreciation of the effect that the light of Christ has had on knowledge in the world, as well as learn many interesting facts about the advancement of science throughout the ages. "Truth and Science" has a very interesting topic, is well written, well researched, and demonstrates its thesis very well. It would be a welcome addition to every LDS person's personal library.
