A powerful and stirring sequel: To Walk in his Moccasins begins before the closing scene of The Painting on the Pond. (ISBN# 1-55517-703-4)

Betrayed in the rugged wilderness of Alaska, Jerry Stone has narrowly escaped death thanks to a desperate rescue by his friends, David Young and Rachel Duncan.  Injured and in agony, he is flown to a hospital more than a thousand miles from home.  However, his own suffering is soon forgotten as he comes to understand the meaning of true courage from a little Indian boy.

Laced with intrigue, adventure, love and forgiveness, this powerful concluding sequel is a story of supreme loyalty and friendship.

"Koho produces a stirring work... Readers are drawn into the narrative from the outset... A compelling read sure to please...for general audiences who enjoy a good story well told, with no profanity and no sex scenes..."

-Betty P. Turner, M.S., Ed.D.

"Dear Miss Writer of Words,

I am making progress, walking in 'your moccasin' and reading your sequel "To Walk in His Moccasin." I do like your way with words. They put a certain color on the page. Since it has been a while that I read your very good novel, "the Painting on the Pond," I had to get acquainted with your characters all over again.

Second chapter, page 8: "Jerry's eyes were sad, and he looked haggard and drained, but his cheerful smile relieved the concern on David and Kimberly's faces as they entered his hospital room. Rachel Duncan followed and slipped quietly into a corner" I liked this introduction of her the way you whispered her into the scene. To me it carries a hint of her character and a promise of what was to come. Of course the following pages really brings her to life! I like Rachel.

I finished chapter nine found the way you handled the Jerry-Danny situation remarkable. Your book is a page-turner. What comes next? I'm anxious to learn what's coming along. However, I won't try to hurry a page and perhaps miss some gem. I can tell that you live what you write. Keep it up!"

-Bruce Merrick, Caldwell, Idaho

"I loved your second book, 'To Walk in His Moccasins.' It made me want to read #1 again so that's what I'm doing. I read book #2 on the plane and cried my eyes out. I had to keep telling my neighbor, 'It's a moving story,' so she didn't think I had emotional problems!"

-Kathy Cook, Santa Rosa, CA

"I just finished, 'To Walk in his Moccasins.' What a wonderful book. I didn't think it could be better than 'Painting on the Pond,' but it sure did. Can't tell you how much I enjoy your books. I read a lot and I can tell you that your books are very good. They get your attention right off the start and it doesn't quit till the last page. Please don't stop writing."

-Gloria Keeping, Fallon, NV

"I loved your writing the Indian language and then saying what it meant. It was beautiful! I felt like I was even able to know you through your writing. I will be sure to get your next novel when it comes out. Please put me on your mailing list."

-Hazel Beck, Taylorsville, UT

"You were there, felt every heartache, tears, and happiness the characters did. Kept you spellbound, waiting to turn the page to see what happened next. I was sorry when the they ended. Thank you for being in Chico that day."

-Dorothy Farwell, Paradise, CA

"I have finished your two books, and I want to tell you, I loved them, and I would read them again and again. They were really hard to put down. I just wanted to tell you to keep up the good work."

-Bev Tatman, Williamston, SC

"The moment my daughter and I walked into the bookstore it was like an experience I had never had before. I was just drawn to you like a magnet. Reading your two books was such a great pleasure. I am sure you had no idea that I was a Black Feet Indian and that your book, 'To Walk in His Moccasins,' would touch me so deeply. Please continue to write these wonderful stories."

-Betty Preston, Ojai, CA

"My son and daughter-in-law bought me your two books for my birthday. I fully enjoyed them both, but I think more so your sequel, 'To Walk In His Moccasins.' I will be looking forward to your next one."

-Peggy Davidson, Grants Pass, OR

"I purchased your books last December, then put them away thinking they weren't my type. I'm a mystery buff. Then running out of books we live 30 miles from town I picked them up and read them. I just had to tell you how much I enjoyed them. It was a real pleasure. Hope you are still writing. Thank you for refreshing books without sex and four letter words."

-Donna McMaster, Live Oaks, CA

"I bought your books from you, got home, and read 'The Painting on the Pond' last night. It was so good I couldn't put it down. I read it in about two hours. Then I read the sequel, 'To Walk In His Moccasins' in about the same amount of time. They were both so well written. You are among some of the best authors I have read. I hope you write many more books. I can't wait to see what you write next. Keep them coming."

-Your #1 fan, Gail Dolan, Boise, ID
