Christians worldwide are increasingly speculating on, preparing for, and, in many cases, dreading the end of time prophesied in the Bible. One hears more and more religious and secular commentary on ‘the Millennium,’ the last days, judgment day, Armageddon, the apocalypse, signs of the times, and the like. . . .Our intent here, then, is to look at scriptural prophesy, old and new, and relate it to modern events that have transpired and those still to come, incorporating as much knowledge as we can from history and the social and physical sciences.
