It's been a real joy to sit read the Book of Mormon Made Easier and gain more of an understanding of the people in the Book of Mormon. I also have had a couple of very strong spiritual experiences while reading this book. I have felt so close to Heavenly Father and felt that He saw my struggles and gave me the answer. I hope to have many more experiences as I continue to read and understand. I believe with all my heart that my husband was inspired to purchase this book for me--it has been such a huge help.

I teach the Gospel Doctrine class in our ward and have used this book as my "background" reading along with the institute manuals (the old and and new one). I love Bro. Ridges explanations and commentary and especially his suggestions in bold. He gives background information that allows the reader to understand the time frame more fully. For example, in beginning of the book of Jacob, he reminds the reader that Jacob was born in the wilderness to Lehi and that at this time he is approximately 45-50 years old. I highly recommend this book. It has been a tremendous asset to my study for my calling!

As an adult convert to the Church without much religious background, studying the scriptures has always been difficult for me. I have tried various student guides and church materials but the presentation in David Ridges book is the first one that has really worked well for me. Having all the verses present with the addition of additional explanatory information, highlights, notes, etc. has been just great for me. It keeps my interest and I really feel like I am making some good progress in my understanding of the materials I am studying for the first time.

This book is truly remarkable! Being introduced recently to the LDS faith, I have found the author's notes invaluable in helping me to understand the Book of Mormon. Also, I appreciate all the facts and observations he makes to support the authenticity of the Book of Mormon. For example, he points out ceratin phrases or wordings as they appear that support the belief that the Book of Mormon was truly translated from ancient texts. I have recommended it to missionaries and other members of the LDS church and will gladly continue to do so.
