Reviews-
This was one of the best books I have ever read. In such a simple and understanding way, Kelvin shares his testimony and love for his Heavenly Father and his Savior. Even through the most difficult of trials he never gave up. He is such an inspiration to me as I'm sure he is to a lot of others. Anyone who reads this book will come away so grateful for what they have and with a renewed desire to do better and serve others. Kelvin is amazing!
Even though I am not of the LDS faith I found that Kelvin’s story is a vibrant testimony of the power of the gospel to turn an apparent tragedy into victorya burden into a blessing. In riveting detail he describes how faith, hope, and love sustained him through the most difficult of times. Faith in Heavenly Father’s plan for his life comforted him when he was beset with second thoughts about "Why me?"
Based on a belief of eternal promises and covenants, Kelvin had a firm foundation to look to the future with anticipation and hope as he attempted to remain faithful and worthy.
Kelvin’s description of his courtship with Joni is charming yet moving in its honesty. This is an essential read for anyone facing significant challenges. The book also serves as a reminder of our responsibility for and the blessings of sharing each other’s burdens.
