  • A clean, enjoyable novel filled with suspense--and ultimately justice.

Dr. John Sanders believes he knows his purpose in life. As a young clinical psychologist he is about to begin his career at Clearcreek Mental Care Center, an elite private inpatient facility. John takes on the challenge of advancing Rebecca Brownell, a resident who has been in the hospital’s care for five years. However, the more time spent within the great and spacious walls of Clearcreek, the more answers become unclear and a new question arises. If Rebecca were to change, who would be hurt?

That answer could lead John into a complex web that he couldn’t have imagined.

Reviews-

Sanders Starfish is a gripping tale drawing the reader into the narrative from the opening lines. The reader is held fast from that initial contact with this tale s main character and does not subside until we find the conflict suitably resolved. Richly portrayed surroundings, potent motivation, story line twists, snappy exchanges, hair raising maneuvering and pleasantly puzzling uncertainty fill the pages of author Allred's debut work with gripping reader appeal.

Enjoyed the story and the authors style. A great first novel. Looking forward to the 2nd story. Assume we will see one in the near future. I passed the book to my wife and her bookclub will be ready for it soon.

This book was one of the best books I have ever read. I am truely looking forward to see what she writes next.

-Amy, Utah

Sanders’ Starfish was just what I needed. Allred has the rare ability to beautifully describe anything that moves. I felt myself relating to the characters turmoil, and wanting them to do the right thing. It's a read worth losing sleep for!

-Janet Faulk of Park City, Utah

A true page turner!! I felt anticipation until the very end.
