Reviews-
Hannah captured my heart. She is real, with worries that any modern girl can identify with, but the unusual pioneer background of isolated Southern Utah adds a level of depth to the story ... the ending was a triumphant realization that we can come to terms with our fears and challenges.
A beautiful story and delightful reading for young and old aike. It is filled with excitement, humor and the everyday struggles of pioneer life. Shirley has a talent for weaving words into pictures. I felt like I was the one facing the mountain lion and defying the raging river.
