Key Features-

- Readers will appreciate Molly's desire to be liked by her peers yet stay true to her beliefs-and the satisfying outcome.
Is it just a myth that a teenager can keep high standards and still be well-liked? Molly Chambers certainly hopes not. She just tries to do what is right and be herself, even if that brings ridicule from guys like Travis and Mitch. She can even handle the verbal jabs of Jennavive Taylor, the most popular girl in school.
But soon Molly faces a whole new challenge. When Molly's best friend is swept away by the school's top athlete-and top party guy-Molly unexpectedly finds herself attracted to his best friend. Reality tells her this relationship could never work out, but her heart tells her otherwise.
This enchanting, true-to-life novel takes you along on Molly's journey, where humbling Homecoming dates and heartaches are mingled with valued friendships and staying true to the truth . . . while unknowingly helping others along the way.
Reviews-
Molly Mormon? and Molly Married? are two of the best books I've ever read for LDS teens. The problems were realistic, the action continuous, and the main character absolutely captivating. Not only are these well-written books, but they're both funny and spiritual--in a non-preachy way. Two of my daughters (ages 10 and 12) also loved these books. I heartily recommend them."
Rachel Ann Nunes - best-selling author of the Ariana series.
The humor, descriptive language and true-to-life situations in this book keep you glued the to the story. The author makes you feel like you are right there living Molly's life with her.
This is the story of a typical teenage girl who desires to stand by her religious principles and be accepted and not made an object of ridicule. It was very believable. The reader likes Molly and wants her to succeed. She is a winning heroine, yet much like any LDS girl in the world today.
I absolutely loved this book! I read it in a day and a half because I just couldn't put it down. Not only is "Molly Mormon?" perfect for teenagers of all ages, it's also a fabulous read for any adult. Even though there are a lot of cliches most of them are used very wittingly. I laughed several times while reading this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it, give it 5 stars, and highly recommend!
Girls who enjoy living the gospel but don't enjoy the teasing that goes with it will find Molly a sympathetic role-model. She's not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but she does care about making good choices and about helping others to do the same.
It isn't often that a book gets me to chuckle out loud-but this one did. Molly Mormon is a well written novel that brings you right into the life of Molly Chambers. It is real, it is funny, and it is moving.
LDS teens are not exempt from the temptations of the world and living the standards of the Lord is never easy. Molly Mormon? and other books like it, though fiction, can still strengthen the youth and help the youth keep their covenants. Take the time to read Molly Mormon?.
