Another Christmas story by Marilyn Brown, the author of Christmas at the M&M.
During their move to Provo from Salt Lake City, the Holly family watched their dining table fly off the trailer and sail out over the point of the mountain like a frisbee.
In their new neighborhood, they found an old discarded board to use for a table. They thought no one wanted it, but evidently the disreputable Chester boys next door had been planning to use it for a tree house. This inadvertently started a war. Would they be able to patch things up in time for Christmas?
Reviews-
ITheir next door neighbor's children are hellions and soon the Holly kids and the Chester kids are 'at war.' Neighborly harmony does not exist. However, before the book ends, M. Brown teaches the reader about forgiveness and acceptance.

I first read Marilyn's Christmas at the M&M in little sections in the newspaper. I could hardly wait for the next day's edition to arrive! I always look forward to each new gift of self that she shares with us.

A delightfully intriguing story, a candy store assortment of memories for every reader. I couldn't put it down.

This touching story was such a joy to read. I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next. There is a lesson to be learned here about telling the truth.
