This exciting series allows readers to experience the past -- and future -- through the eyes of a typical LDS family.
In Volume 1, An Errand for Emma, join Emma Dalton as she travels back in time to 1868 to unlock a long-lost family secret. Along the way she receives help from Brigham Young and meets her own ancestors!
In Volume 2, Doug's Dilemma, Emma's brother Doug finds his life abruptly altered as he is transported to 1944 and into World War II. A conversation with a newly called apostle named Ezra Taft Benson gives Doug the direction to survive a very unique mission.
The series takes a final dramatic turn in Volume 3, Escape to Zion. Emma finds herself on a final errand that places her in Salt Lake City six months before the Second Coming. Readers take a perilous journey with her to New Jerusalem and witness such prophesied events as Adam-ondi-Ahman and the Millennium.
Readers of all ages have enjoyed this series, as it presents gospel themes through exciting stories and unforgettable characters. Author Lee Nelson says, "Wow! This is fun reading!"

- When I pulled out the first book in the Emma trilogy I had a busy day ahead, but I was due for a short break, so I thought I'd just look at a few pages to see what they were like. Hours later I was still reading. Over the next several days, I burnt the bread, forgot to make dinner and generally neglected my family. I stopped reading only to fulfill the numerous church assignments I had that week. These were easily the three best books I have ever read!

I found "The Emma Trilogy" to be quite an enjoyable young adult series. . . The tone of all the books is fluid and casual. It's perfect for young adult readers. . . And the narrators never take themselves too seriously. While they have some amazing adventures, they always sound like regular people who are just doing what they are called upon to do, and inject lots of humor along the way. . . Chad Daybell is a competent storyteller, and the Emma Trilogy is a set of three really fun, positive books. We should see more from him in the future. No pun intended.
