Comments from readers of Great Shall Be Your Joy:

"Minutes ago, I completed my first reading of Great Shall Be Your Joy. In my thirst for knowledge, I seldom just 'read' something; if it's good, I 'digest' it. You can rest assured, several more readings of this book must follow! If it is possible, I was even more deeply touched by this than your first book. Great Shall Be Your Joy is a cherished possession already, one that will be shared with many."

"Great Shall Be Your Joy had an overwhelmingly positive and favorable impression on me. The Spirit speaks to confirm the truth of the principles contained therein! It is not only scripturally and prophetically sound, but it is extremely well written."

"For a long time I had abandoned hope of ever really changing. . . but then I realized I needed to trust my life into the hands of a much greater power than that of man on earth so I turned to the Lord . . . The past few years have been those of confinement, like being in a tight cocoon. The dark surrounds you, and you wonder if you will ever see the light again and then when you do, it is so bright that you almost have to shade your eyes, yet you don't want to because it is so warm and inviting after such a long time in the cold darkness."

Reviews-

"Great Shall Be Your Joy" was first published in 1983, and is now republished as an "LDS Classic Best-Seller," according to the blurb on
the cover. Some of you may have read this book before. Now it is being
made available to a wider audience.

Cramer writes this book directly from the heart. No complex theological
explorations, no attempt to blaze new paths, only a celebration of his
own journey from belief, to rebellion, and back to belief. A previous
book, "Worth of a Soul," chronicles some of this journey.

The central message of this book is to convince the reader that God,
through the Holy Spirit, has an enabling power to bring us all to
exaltation, if only we'll allow Him. He recounts his own resistance,
and then submission, to the power of the Spirit. It is a celebration of
his own return to a faith-filled life, one in which he finds great meaning.

Cramer's book is interestingly and fluently written. He understands the necessity for a life built on faith, filled with hope, and assured that God will not abandon us. At times you can feel his anguish as he remembers the wrenching experience of coming out
of a life of rebellion into a life of submission to the gentle will of God.

Cramer wants us to know that, regardless of Satan's insistence that God
has given up on us, He never surrenders us to the Enemy. He is always
there to come into our lives, to transform us, and compel us along the
path to exaltation. Readers will find much to encourage them here.
