In this challenging new book the author assembles numerous prophecies not readily available previously. In doing so, he combines newly collected prophetic statements from respected LDS sources with other supporting prophetic utterances from outside of Mormondom. Together, they strengthen the message of previously available prophetic warnings - that America must soon face a period of crisis, with perils both from within and abroad.

Prophecies indicate that when the crises come, many will be destroyed, famine and disease will be prevalent, and there will be great mourning throughout the land. They will occur prior to and during the building of the New Jerusalem in Jackson County, Missouri.

During this time, the Rocky Mountains and other areas will be places of refuge for the Saints. Warnings of a foreign attack on America are discussed, including specific American cities and military targets that are expected to be its focus, according to the prophetic warnings. The book is intended to inform the Saints so they can prepare.

But this book looks beyond this catastrophic period, showing that America is a land of divine destiny - place of promise and inheritance for a portion of the House of Israel. It also explains that when the earth receives its paradisiacal glory, special requirements will fall on the members of the Church who then live upon the Land of Promise.
