This is the BEST book for Family Home Evenings with little ones. My 'little ones' are now big ones, but I still think about this book and the impact it had on our kids. In primary the teachers were always impressed how well they knew The Book of Mormon. I think the greatest thing was that it got our young family on the right track as far as FHE goes. The lessons are super easy to prepare, and they really help the children know the meaning of the root words in the story. I don't think I would have realized to teach what 'destroy' means. Building a city of blocks and then 'destroying' it made the word understandable and the story of what happened to Jerusalem thus understandable. If you buy one FHE book in your life, buy this one. Seriously.
