Cake Mix Cookies, Laura Powell

This is a fun recipe to make with your kids. These cookies come together quickly thanks to a cake mix. Plus they are soft and delicious.

1 box cake mix (you choose the flavor””devil’s food is our favorite)

2 eggs

1⁄3cup oil

1⁄8 ““1⁄4 cup water

any other ingredients you like (dried fruit, nuts, peanut butter chips, etc.)

1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2 Mix the cake mix, eggs, and oil.

3 Add enough water to make the mixture the consistency of cookie dough.

4 Mix in any other ingredients you like, such as dried fruit chips, or nuts. (I use about 1 1⁄2 cups peanut butter chips with the devil’s food mix)

5 Drop dough by the spoonful on ungreased cookie sheet.

6 Bake at 350 degrees for 8″“10 minutes until set in the middle.

Makes about 2 dozen cookies.
