Jeffrey R. Young is a great-great-grandson of Brigham Young. He and his wife, the former Joy L. Kemp, have five children and three grandchildren.
He graduated from BYU with a degree in political science and followed that with a law degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School. His career has focused on the business and legal side of oil and gas exploration. Currently, Jeff is vice president of land and administration for an independent oil and gas company in Denver.
