Julie Wright has always been a writer, from her days at Brighton High School in Salt Lake City through her graduation from BYU. She has won several awards for short stories and poetry.
She met her husband Scott in high school, sent him off on an LDS mission to Sweden, and waited faithfully. She speaks, reads and writes fluent Swedish, and loves to backpack and go rock climbing.
She has a deep appreciation for fine art, good reading and great Italian food.
She currently resides in Oak City, Utah, where she and her husband own a small grocery store. They have three children.
