Roger Terry

After serving an LDS mission to Hamburg, Germany, Roger Terry earned a bachelor’s degree in German and an MBA, both from BYU. He then spent nine years on the faculty of the Marriott School of Management and eventually became the editor of Exchange, the school’s alumni magazine.

After leaving BYU, he became a literary agent, book reviewer, editor, author of Economic Insanity: How Growth-Driven Capitalism Is Devouring the American Dream, newspaper columnist, small business owner, day planner creator, and marketing director. In 2003 his novel A Familiar Ring was published. He is currently a senior editor at the Ensign magazine.

Roger has been happily married for twenty-one years and resides in Orem, Utah, with his wife, Sheri, and two of their four children. Their oldest son is on a mission in Hamburg, and their daughter is a freshman at BYU. Roger, a sports enthusiast, teaches an institute class for the BYU Seventh Stake.
