 Lindsey Shumway was born and raised in Renton, Washington. After attending Brigham Young University, she pursued a career in publishing. I Chose You, a cherished story she has heard thousands of times from her mother, Cathy Jex, is one that she never tires of hearing.
Lindsey loves children and has tried to provide learning experiences for them ever since she tutored third-graders when she was in the sixth grade. Today she helps Primary children learn to love the gospel of Jesus Christ. She feels that children are capable of understanding complex gospel topics, especially when taught in a fun and creative way.
Lindsey makes her home in Lehi, Utah, with her amazing husband, Adam, and their two darling Jack Russell Terriers, Gracie and Boyscout.
