Angel collects cookbooksthousands of them. Her favorites are the down-home community fundraising cookbooks with heritage recipes passed on joyfully for generations. One of the most common ingredients in all of these cookbooks is butterwholesome, farm-fresh, flavorful butter.
With all the negative press that butter gets these days, it’s no wonder that her fondness for nostalgia brought her to the conclusion that butter didn’t have to be “badder”it could be better! Friends, family, and co-workers urged her to bring her passion for butter to everyone by putting together a butter cookbook with love.
After almost 30 years’ worth of radio and television experience, Angel’s weekly schedule includes cooking on ABC4’s Good Things Utah or whipping up a dish on the radio at 94.1 KODJ. Her recipes have been printed in the Salt Lake Tribune newspaper and seen by 240,000 readers every week, and Angel’s personal recipe website received over 167,000 hits in one month. She’s active in cooking demonstrations at local home shows, markets, festivals, and fairs.
Angel lives in Salt Lake City with her husband Dickie and their cat Scooter (who’s also a butter-lover).
