Kimber Orson Ricks grew up on a little farm near Rexburg, Idaho, that provides the setting for the story he shares in Discovering Santa. He retired in 2003 after a successful career as a CPA, fund-raising executive, and financial consultant. Kimber and Dorothy Ann, his sweetheart and best friend for most of his life, live in Moody, about six miles from that same little farm. They have seven children and twenty-three grandchildren.
