Margaret E. Pickard is an attorney, educator, and mother of four children and three stepchildren. Throughout her legal career, her primary focus has been to protect the interests of children in divorce. As a family law practitioner, she served as a Family Court Mediator, Special Master, and guardian ad litem.
After establishing a successful family law practice in Missoula, Montana, Ms. Pickard joined the faculty of the University of Montana, where she taught family law and business organizations. Currently, she is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas as well as Duke University. She serves as a consultant for the Institute of Career Development, and is a guest lecturer at universities across the country. She is the author of Business Organizations for Paralegals (West Legal Studies, 2001) and Job Strategies for Paralegals (West Legal Studies, 2006). She resides in Henderson, Nevada, with her husband, Keith, and their family, in an extended circle of love.
