Julia Dalton McLaren was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and raised in Denver, Colorado. She has taught numerous classes in Relief Society, Young Women, Primary, and Sunday School and has served in Relief Society and Primary presidencies. She has worked for twenty-six years as a legal secretary in the law firm of Callister & Callister. She lives in Glendale, California, with her husband, John “Jack” McLaren.
