Connie Joslin, a native of Utah, spent her early years in Roosevelt. After high school, she attended Utah State University in Logan, where she graduated with honors in 1966. She then moved to Southern California where she taught high school English for several years. In 1970 she married Gary James Joslin in the Los Angeles Temple. They eventually moved back to Utah where they raised their family. After her husband passed away in 1998, she became the Director of Washington Institute for Graduate Studies.
Since her retirement, she has stayed busy with family and church responsibilities. She has served in such capacities as ward organist, Young Women president, Relief Society president, and Gospel Doctrine teacher.
