Richard Decker

Richard E. Decker grew up in Payson, Utah. He served a mission for the LDS Church in Hong Kong. Following his mission, he returned to BYU, graduating with a bachelors degree from the College of Family Living, later working on a Masters degree in Family Life Education, then a PhD in Education. Richard pursued a career as a law enforcement officer, serving at BYU as a police officer for eighteen years. He and his wife Diann live in Utah. They have five children.
