Todd Cope

Todd Cope

Todd F. Cope grew up in Spanish Fork, Utah where he still resides. As the youngest of thirteen children, he quickly learned to get along with others. After graduating from high school, he served an LDS mission to Western Australia where he met a missionary from New Zealand who would later become his wife.

Todd and Denise were married in New Zealand and lived there for two years before returning to the United States so he could continue his education. He graduated from Utah Valley State College in Orem, Utah with an associate degree in nursing and later from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah with a baccalaureate degree in nursing. Most of his career has been spent in the Emergency Room. Currently he is the Director of Nursing at an assisted living center in Provo, Utah. He enjoys gardening, running and spending time with his wife and four children.

Todd’s love for writing dates back to the second grade when he won a poetry writing contest. He continued to be honored for his essays, poetry and prose throughout his school career. Todd has published many articles on a variety of subjects in several forums including the Ensign and New Era magazines. He is the author of The Shift, a self-published novel that inspired the CBS Television movie The Last Dance, starring Maureen O’Hara.
