Shalmarie Bunker is the mother of three children.

She has a Bachelor's Degree in English as well as her Secondary Education Degree, both from the University of Utah. She has worked extensively in educational, day treatment and recreational settings with children. She has spent a great deal of time working with persons with disabilities.
