George Blake is a successful advertising agent who suddenly became single after 18 years of marriage. He quickly realized how difficult it was to meet new compatible single acquaintances, not to mention the difficulty of meeting compatible single "re-marriage" prospects.
So he embarked on a research program to determine the best ways and the best places to meet other "singles." He experimented by conducting and hosting more than 1,200 singles events (dances, cruises, sporting events, theater, cocktail parties, concerts, etc.) attended by more than 250,000 "singles." His research culminated in his original very popular book "SINGLE AGAIN: dating and meeting new friends the second time around" which is currently in its third revision and is one of the most popular "relationship" books in print.
His research also spawned his syndicated newspaper column "For Singles Only," along with appearances on more than 80 talk shows around the country, discussing the subject of meeting and re-marrying with singles from every walk of life.
Now his newest book "MARRIED AGAIN: making the right decision the next time" is the result of his personal research among over 3,000 "singles" who have been married two or more times (some as often as 6 times), plus his feedback from over 250,000 single guests and his newspaper column readers. The book tells it like it is but adds humor and case histories in a lively manner that is "must" reading for persons 25 to 80 years old contemplating marriage or re-marriage.
To make the book "MARRIED AGAIN" worth its weight in gold, it also contains a sample of an iron-clad pre-nuptial agreement that originally cost $1,500 in lawyers fees to draw up.
George Blake is a member of the National Association of Single Persons, a national organization that insures America's 82 million adults single persons have a voice in the Halls of Congress and in state legislatures. Blake's books include "Single Again," "Married Again," "Diary of a Duffer," and "The Lemming Disaster."
George Blake lives in Florida and is unmarried but promises to one day put into use the lessons he learned from "Married Again."
