| MaryLou Bailey has been creating games since she was a child. When everyone else was bringing goodies to parties, she brought games. She was raised in a family that played games together - at home, in the car, and outside in their yard, which was the neighborhood gathering place. In college she invented games for her roommates, friends, and all the dorm parties. Her passion is to play games to teach her children. As a private school teacher, she saw how the children learned more quickly and retained more when they played a game as part of the learning. From those teaching experiences she wrote Get Smart - Group Games That Teach. Her other published works are All Bundled Up and Wedding Rings & Baby Things. She has also been a featured writer for Party Time and Scrapbook Trends magazine.
