Tara C. Allred was raised in Southern California in a critical thinking and creative atmosphere formed by her philosopher/psychologist father and her artist mother. She was recognized as a Californian Scholar of the Arts for Creative Writing and is a graduate in Psychology of Brigham Young University. She currently lives in Northern Utah.
